Dr. L is one of my favorite doctors of all-time in NYC. He makes me laugh, has a wonderful bedside manner, treats me equitably, and most of all, he's professional but approachable. I always feel like he actually cares about your health & the 360 view, whereas most doctors give a fraction of that care & attention to your overall wellbeing. I also appreciate his staff. Each person plays a special role in the practice & gives themselves authentically as well as generously. It's a special practice, and even after my insurance changed, I will continue to schlep there, no matter where we live because it is so unique.

Dr. Leibowitz takes his time with you, unlike so many other primary care doctors. You will feel attended to and listened to. His demeanor is warm and straightforward, with an ability to joke and lighten the atmosphere. His staff can can take care of much in-office, and he is fast to recommend outside specialists to cater to your additional needs. Overall, you get the sense that your best interests are what interests him - he's not quick to prescribe unnecessary medication and keeps a holistic, self-empowering approach in mind when discussing how to address your medical needs. Always feel great after a visit!

I wish I had found Dr Leibowitz years ago. The 55th St office is welcoming, well-kept and never crowded (Seen<15) The staff is exceptional: professional, courteous and very personable. You can tell that Dr. Leibowitz loves his profession; he has great bedside manner, treats each visit as if it’s a consultation. He’s knowledgeable, attentive and informative. I also really appreciate how up-to-date they are with tech. iPads to inform on various health related topics, make an appointment via text messages. Get test results using Health apps. Highly recommended.
